Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Doctors Who Conducted Actor’s Post-Mortem Receive Abusive And Threatening Calls – Reports
Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case is getting murkier with every passing day. Many allegations and different theories surface every now and then, some by the officials some by the fans. But today was a historic day as the Supreme Court approved a CBI investigation in his death case while announcing the verdict on Rhea Chakraborty’s plea of seeking transfer of the case from Patna, Bihar to Mumbai. This morning, the Supreme Court ruled out its verdict in favour of the late actor’s family and asked Mumbai Police to cooperate with the CBI officials.

Now as CBI is gearing up for its investigation into SSR’s death, reports are abuzz that the doctors who conducted SSR’s post-mortem are now getting online threats and abusing phone calls. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, a campaign was made live on social media where the doctors’ names and their phone numbers were displayed with the copy of the autopsy report. However, it was taken offline just three days back. Netizens believed that the doctors were bribed to manipulate the post-mortem report and rule that the actor died by suicide. Reports further state that the doctors are also getting calls on their alternative number and landline number of the Hospital where SSR’s post-mortem was conducted.

Ever since the actor's death, Cooper hospital in Mumbai has been targeted by netizens and the dean of the hospital Mr. Pinakin Gujjar has asked to resign at the earliest. The Mumbai Mirror also states that the doctors are petrified and reluctant to file a police complaint, fearing that they could be subjected to further harassment.

The Mirror reports states, “At a meeting with an office-bearer of the Medico-Legal Association of Maharashtra on Monday, one of the targeted doctors also expressed concern for the safety of his family member, who is also featured on the Facebook profile photograph being circulated. “He refused to file a complaint even on Tuesday. We understand their reservation; these are young doctors,” said a senior forensic science expert.” (ALSO READ: Kangana Ranaut Mocks Deepika Padukone And Her 'Repeat After Me' Posts On Depression: 'Stop Using Mental Illness So Loosely')
